Do Obama supporters know that his tax plan on corporations will just be ped to the consumer?

When corporations are taxed, the added taxes are ped down to the consumer making prices on goods skyrocket, hence the term "ping the buck", how does this help the middlecl or average American if they are not needy enough or do not qualify for a free handout?
