What are some good recipes for cookies that won't spread out when I bake them?

My cookie recipes always spread out to over twice their size, which I don't mind, and my family certainly don't either, but I bought some new cookie cutters (Xmas trees, snowmen, penguins etc) and I want to make and decorate Christmas cookies so I need a new recipe that won't expand to much. Anything you have will be helpful. Thank you.
