What happens if we used a backwards condom?

me and my bf were in the dark and i started to unroll the condom, then realized it was backwards,, so instead of flipping it around we managed to get it on backwards and had anyways .. what is the difference? my bf told me the only difference is that one side is lubricated and the other side isn't .. but i'm a bit of a paranoia.. can anyone help me out?
