Broken back question, Please help?

I broke my back, (L4 vertabret), back in december. it was a stress fracture, not a horrible break, a hairline fracture, and now I'm in a back brace. I was really wondering how long will it take to heal. I start physical therapy this friday,b ecause my dctor said its healed, but the muscles are still messed up. I don't fully believe that though because the pain still seams the exact same. also, Will I probably have problems when I am older, because Im somewhat of a rowdy kid, really hyper, and I love being active, and sometimes I cant help rough housing a litle with my friends, because its never hurt that bad?
