Should I or Shouldn't I?

Quick back ground info, adopted from birth, lovely parents (kinda) recently my biological mother contacted me and wants to meet me. Atm my life is &)*& up and I am trying to get it back on track, she wants to see the man I've become, but what if I'm not happy with the person I am? Being adopted has never been a big thing before, should I give it a miss this time? There is a matter of distance, me Qld her Tas. any experience or suggestions would be greatly appreciated
