Terminating parents rights without consent?

Where would one look to see if their parental rights were terminated for abandonment . This is not the case but I suspect my ex did this . I have paid all my child support and was paying her when we first separated without orders . Off course she probably lied about this . She has lived in 5 different states .Where would I start ?
