What type of Palm trees will grow well in North Central Texas? ( specifically, Southwest Fort Worth)?

I live in Ft. Worth, & we would like to plant some palm trees in our yard. The soil is predominantly sandy loam, with a lot of clay & rocks. I do plan to dig a hole large enough for the root ball plus about 3 times the size to add some better soil. They will receive plenty of morning to late afternoon sunlight. Any thoughts?
