I think I have about the perfect marinade for beef, pork, or lamb. Could you judge it for me and maybe make?

I would add sliced onions and peppercorns. Also, I would pat the meat dry before searing. Perhaps even coat in seasoned flour before searing. This would, at the least, improve the gravy significantly.
